Corrosive liquid flow meter

In the industrial production process, many media are slightly or strong corrosive. We need to measure the flow rate of these aggressive fluids. How to choose the flow instrumentation for measuring corrosive media? Commonly used corrosive medium flowmeters include electromagnetic flowmeters, rotameters, and so on.

Magnetic flowmeter for measuring corrosive media

Mag flowmeters can be selected with PTFE lining or PFA lining. The Teflon and PFA linings are very resistant to corrosion. The electrode materials can be selected from hastelloy alloy, platinum rhodium, Tan ,titanium, etc. These metals can meet most corrosive properties. Mag flow meter can take flow measurement of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, chlorine water, hydrogen peroxide, caustic soda, etc. The flowmeter housing can be selected from stainless steel 304 or 316 to accommodate flow measurements in corrosive environments.

Rotameter to measure corrosive liquids

The metal tube rotor is a traditional flow measuring device, which is kind of variable area flow meter; we provide a PTFE-lined rotameter that can measure corrosive liquids. The rotameter can be an analog flowmeter, showing the instantaneous flow of the pipe without any power supply.
