Why need flow meter for nitrogen gas?
Nitrogen, with the chemical formula N₂, is a colorless and odorless gas. Nitrogen is usually called an inert gas, and its chemical properties are very inactive. Nitrogen combines with many metals to form hard nitrides, which can be used as wear-resistant metals. Nitrogen gas can be used to make ammonia, nitric acid, nitrates, cyanide, etc.,; filling high temperature thermometers, incandescent light bulbs; forming an inert material to preserve materials, used in dry boxes or glove bags. Liquid nitrogen can be used for food freezing; as a coolant in laboratories. In industrial production, we often need to measure the flow of nitrogen in the pipeline, and an electronic nitrogen flow meter is essential in industry.
Turbine flowmeter-perfect electronic nitrogen gas flow measurement
Turbine flowmeter(TUF flow meter ) is a commonly used digital nitrogen flowmeter. The structure of the nitrogen flowmeter sensor is: the center of the impeller shaft coincides with the axis of the pipeline, and the turbine blades form a certain angle with the impeller shaft. When the n2 gas flows in the same direction as the shaft, the turbine is pushed to rotate, the rotation speed is proportional to the N2 gas flow rate.
At present, Silver Automation Instruments manufacture electronic gas turbine flowmeter has an external oil injection structure, which can continuously run for a long time to measure the volume flow of nitrogen gas. N2 gas flow sensor is designed with inlet and outlet rectifiers, and generally uses oil-filled bearings to obtain high accuracy of nitrogen gas volumetric flow measurement.
