What are paperless recorders?

Silver has designed an advanced set of data recorders that come with a fully equipped analytical software suite programmed specifically to meet all their user’s data recording needs and more.
Unlike traditional recorders that write data on paper charts, this paperless recorder data logger instrument shows the collected data on an LCD screen as waveforms, numbers, and bar graphs. It can also store this data internally or on an external storage device like a USB flash drive.

Saved data can be viewed on a computer using the included free cost software. Additionally, the digital chart recorder has RS232C or RS485 interfaces that allow transferring data to a PC, acting as a client function.
The software package comes with tools that specifically help the user graph batch and continuous data. It also provides archiving and analytical tools. It can also be preset to upload any new or existing recorded data at specified times and dates. • You can select the input type of a measurement channel as follows. You can also perform computation on the measured data such as the “square root,” and “small signal cutting.”

• You can select the “Input range” that is appropriate for the input signal for “DC current,”“DC voltage,” “Resistance,” “Thermocouple,” “RTD,” and “Frequency.” For each “Inputrange,” a measurable range is defined.
