Paperless digital recorder overview
As a display instrument for a long time, the recorder is called the eye of the industry, and has been widely used in various industrial sites, such as petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power, machinery, medicine, light industry and other industries. Before the 1990s, people mainly used mechanical paper recorders to indicate and record parameters such as temperature, pressure and flow, and played a very important role in industrial automation control systems. However, the internal structure of the mechanical recorder is complex and there are many moving parts, so the reliability is poor, and mechanical failures are prone to occur. In the mid-1990s, paperless digital recorders came into being. Due to the use of advanced technologies such as microprocessors, large-capacity storage media and liquid crystal displays, many problems existing in mechanical recorders have been completely solved, with high reliability, low long-term operating costs, and the ability to analyze and process recorded data and other advantages, electronic data recorder is widely used.
(1) Various singal inputs
you can choose 1-48 universal signal channels inputs, commonly used are 1 channel paperless graphic recorder, 2-channel paperless data recorder , 4-channel paperless process recorder, paperless recorder 6 channel, 8-channel paperless chart recorders 10 channels, 20 channels, 40 channels and 48-channel paperless digital recorder without paper recorder. Users only need to connect different types of input signals to the different signal input terminals of the corresponding channels to realize various signal input, which is convenient for connection and operation. Other channels on the instrument can also be connected to various types of signals according to the needs of users input signal, so as to take full advantage of the spare function of other channels.
(2) Storage technology
The memory is one of the important parts of the paperless digital recorder, which is used to store the recorded data, which is equivalent to the recording paper in the mechanical recorder. The memory of the paperless recorder uses a large-capacity Flash RAM. F1ash memory can store data for a long time, and does not require a backup battery to ensure that all historical data and configuration parameters are not lost due to power failure. The stored data can be protected even if there is a sudden power failure on the paperless data recorder. Multiple data saving formats and triggering functions allow for more efficient data saving. With 256M storage capacity of the paperless graphic recorder, users can choose according to their needs. The recording interval is divided into 1s, 2s, 4s, 8s, 12s, 24s, 36s, 48s, etc.
(3) Display technology
The
paperless digital recorder uses an LCD screen with sizes of 3.5", 5.6" and 10.4 inch. There are monochrome or color display, with curve, bar graph, number, overview, historical curve, list and other display methods, which can realize various monitoring functions. The brightness of the LED backlight is uniform and soft, and the chromaticity is moderate, which meets the standard of the human eye and is clearly visible.
(4) Power technology
In order to meet the needs of different enterprises, the switching power supply has a wide range of AC power supply, the operating voltage range is 176246VAC, 4763Hz, and the maximum power consumption is 30VA. The switching power supply adopts 1A/250VAC fuse. It is a slow blow type and does not need to be replaced during use. Integrated WATCHDOG chip to ensure long-term safe and reliable operation of the host. Using hardware real-time clock, powered by lithium battery after power failure. There is also a 24V DC power supply option.
(5) Configuration function technology
The paperless digital recorder introduces the control function into the paperless recorder, so that paperless graphic recorder has the function of measurement control and becomes an intelligent instrument. In addition, for simple measurement applications, paperless process recorder also has programmable mathematical calculation functions (such as temperature and pressure compensation calculations for flow) and programmable totalizer functions (such as flow accumulation), which integrates digital display, processing, recording, and accumulation. It has various flow calculation models such as general gas, superheated steam, saturated steam, linear pressure compensation and linear temperature compensation, and can generate a cumulative list of daily flow and monthly flow, which is displayed in full English. The picture is clear.
It also has 1, 2, 3, 4, 12, 24 alarm outputs and 1-8 distribution outputs. With 14 configuration operation buttons and a knob, the operation is very simple.
(6) Communication and printing technology
The electronic data recorder has a variety of communication interfaces, which can be connected to isolated RS-485 and RS-232C interfaces to realize network monitoring. However, the RS-485 and RS-232C communication interfaces cannot be used at the same time, and the RS-485 serial bus is isolated from the host. It adopts the MOD-BUS communication protocol, and the communication baud rate has 4 options of 1200bps, 9600bps, 19200bps and 57600bps. Silver Automation Instruments also offer two RS-485 communication port terminals options.
There is an Ethernet interface behind the paperless recorder, which can be directly connected to the industrial control network. The RS-232C communication interface behind the fuselage can not only exchange data with the computer, but also directly connect with the panel-type serial micro-printer. Print historical data, bar graphs and curves, etc.
Application of paperless recorder
The paperless chart recorders can be used in various industrial sites such as metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, building materials, papermaking, food, pharmaceutical, heat treatment, water treatment and so on. In the chemical industry, for example, in some chemical plant products such as raw alkali, barium chloride, etc., an electronic data recorder can be used to record the value and curve of the temperature change during the production process, because it can only be produced at a certain temperature, relatively qualified products. In the petrochemical industry, such as in the oil refining tower, the oil enters the tower, and at different temperatures, the oil can be separated into different products, so the temperature and saturated gas pressure compensation is very important. It can record the real-time temperature in the refinery tower at any time; control it according to different temperatures, and save its data for research. A paperless chart recorder is also a more suitable recorder with good features and a low price.
